Newcastle, UK; 26 November, 2025 – Sage, the leader in accounting, financial, HR and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses, has been honoured on three prestigious global lists for its outstanding achievements in culture, diversity, and sustainable growth.
Forbes ranked Sage at #188 on the World’s Best Employers, a list based on feedback from 300,000 people across 50 countries. The responses were codified into a scoring system, and 900 of the highest scorers were included on this list. Notably, Sage was one the only UK-headquartered tech company that made it to the list, and was among only 50 tech companies worldwide that were included.
Sage was also named to the Financial Times EU Diversity Leaders, ranking #156 of 800 companies. Similar to Forbes’ World’s Best Employers, this list also takes employee opinion into account, which makes up 70% of the score. Beyond that, companies are assessed on factors like the percentage of women on their leadership team and how they communicate their diversity, equity and inclusion policies and initiatives.
Amanda Cusdin, Chief People Officer, Sage, says: “These honours for our culture are especially meaningful as they are informed by employee feedback. Our commitment to the employee experience is unwavering – and while we have more to do, I’m pleased to see that our efforts are having such a positive impact on our colleague base.”
Lastly, Sage made its debut on to the TIME World’s Best Companies – Sustainable Growth list as well, which aims to identify companies that are marrying financial and environmental performance, as demonstrated by lower carbon emissions, low water consumption, and high green energy usage. The ranking focuses on three key pillars: revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact, and only companies that transparently communicate their sustainability data are considered for inclusion.
Elisa Moscolin, EVP of Sustainability and Society, says: “We believe that sustainability is not just a nice-to-have, it’s integral to business growth and resilience. For this reason, being on the TIME World’s Best Companies – Sustainable Growth is especially meaningful to us: it recognises that sustainability and financial performance are not opposing forces. By embedding environmental & social responsibility into our strategy, we’re creating efficiencies, unlocking innovation, and strengthening the foundations for long-term success.”
