Control total amount
An optional method for payroll processors to confirm that all of the amounts were entered correctly during data entry (paying a person 100 hours instead of 10, for example). If you enter data for the pay run from timesheets, you may manually total the hours from the timesheets. This function lets you enter your totals to compare with what you entered into the system. The variance should always be zero if you entered everything correctly.
