Sage Construction Management Q3 2025 Enhancements: Greater Visibility, Smarter Integrations

As Sage Construction Management (SCM) nears its two-year milestone, Q3 2025 brings powerful enhancements, including enhanced ERP integrations, improved project visibility, and workflow efficiencies to streamline construction project management.

Landscape of a harbour

As we approach the two-year anniversary of Sage Construction Management (SCM), we’re taking a moment to highlight some of the most recent enhancements released in Q3 2025 that reflect how the product continues to evolve.

From expanded ERP integrations to improved project visibility and workflow efficiency these updates are focused on helping contractors streamline processes, eliminate redundant data entry, and gain deeper insights across their project lifecycle.

Below are the highlights from the latest update, and why they matter:

1. Purchase Order Change Orders Now in Browser and Mobile

You can now create and manage Purchase Order Change Orders (PO COs) directly from the SCM browser solution or mobile app. These can be posted to Sage Intacct Construction and Sage 300 CRE, and they’re also visible to collaborators via the TeamLink Portal.

Why it matters: This brings PO management closer in line with subcontract workflows, allowing you to track and manage changes to POs with greater ease and transparency—no matter where you are.

2. Faster Photo Management with Albums Paging and Filters

Contractors uploading hundreds of job site photos will see major performance improvements with new paging and filter options in the Albums and Photos interface.

Why it matters: Large photo libraries now load faster in the browser, allowing project teams to find and view images more efficiently—even on photo-heavy jobs.

3. Labor Timecards: More Integration, More Flexibility

SCM timecards can now be:

  • Posted to Sage 100 Contractor using HH2
  • Exported as CSV files for import into Sage 300 CRE

Why it matters: Whether you’re using Sage 100 Contractor or Sage 300 CRE, you can now standardize your labor capture in SCM and push records downstream with minimal manual effort.

4. Drill Into Job-to-Date (JTD) Cost Details

SCM now supports query and drill-in capabilities for job-to-date (JTD) costs across Sage Intacct Construction, Sage 100 Contractor, and Sage 300 CRE. In addition to viewing summarized costs by project, prime, and cost code, you can now dive into the transaction-level detail directly within analytic reports.

Why it matters: Project managers now have faster access to actionable cost data—particularly when actuals exceed budget—and can post revised cost budgets, change orders, and prime invoices back to the ERP for a seamless sync.

5. Streamlined Budget and Billing Sync with Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 CRE

SCM now supports posting of revised cost budgets, client change orders, and progress invoices directly to Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 CRE. This enhancement ensures that your accounting system reflects the most current project financials without the need for manual data re-entry.

Why it matters: During project setup, cost budgets are often in development. With this update, SCM can push finalized budgets to Sage 100 Contractor or Sage 300 CRE even after the initial estimate has been created. Additionally, posting change orders and invoices directly from SCM into your ERP simplifies billing workflows and ensures alignment across teams managing contracts, accounting, and project execution

6. Purchasing Status Views for Sage Intacct Construction Users

New Purchase Order and Subcontract status forms provide real-time visibility into purchasing transaction data from Sage Intacct Construction, including:

  • PO Status View: POs, PO COs, Bills
  • Subcontract Status View: Subcontracts, SCOs, Sub Invoices

Why it matters: PMs can now quickly troubleshoot vendor or transaction issues without digging through multiple systems, saving time and reducing errors.

7. Improved AP/AR Tax Code Integration with Sage Intacct Construction

You can now post AP and AR transactions from SCM to Sage Intacct Construction with full tax schedule (tax code) references.

Why it matters: Better tax code linking ensures compliance and eliminates manual cleanup in your accounting system.

8. Tax on Gross Support for Invoices

SCM now allows contractors to apply tax on gross amounts (instead of net) for prime and subcontract invoices.

Why it matters: This is crucial for contractors working in jurisdictions that mandate gross-based taxation, allowing for accurate billing and tax compliance regardless of region.
