In a distracted age, our inability to pay attention to our environment is leading to increased rates of anxiety and depression. Only by taking care of your immediate environment can you then move onto bigger challenges.

Presenters Rafael Casas and Garrett Wagner help you understand how you can translate these methods of “Clean Your Room” into your accounting firm.

Creating an Environment of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging

Achieving a safe and inclusive environment for your team and clients is critical to the success of your organization.

Shut Up and Eat Your French Fries! – Asking effective questions

This session is dedicated to the possibility that professionals can greatly increase the value they provide to their customers if they hone their skills at asking better, more effective questions.

Developing and enhancing this skill is not easy because it requires us to rethink the paradigms and prejudices of the past.

If you would like to contribute to a conversation about this topic, please join Ed Kless, host of the Sage Thought Leadership Podcast and Sage’s senior director of partner development and strategy.

State of Small Businesses in America

In the U.S., there are 30.7 small businesses which employ nearly half of the workforce, and account for more than 60% of the private sector’s new jobs.

Three out 10 of small businesses say they likely won’t survive 2021 without additional government assistance during the pandemic, a survey from the Federal Reserve Bank shows.

This means nearly 9 million small firms are at risk of closing for good.

Todd McCracken, NSBA President and CEO shares a look into COVID-19s impact on small businesses 1.5 years later and how we can all work together to repair for the future.

Innovation Beyond Technology

Technology is important, but it is only a small part of innovation. For innovation to be more fully complete we must look at other areas including the internal processes of the organization and most importantly the very language we use.

Innovating like this is hard work and not for everyone because it requires deeper thinking than is most often thought. If you believe you can attain this level of thinking, you are invited to attend this session facilitated by Ed Kless, host of the Sage Thought Leadership Podcast and Sage’s senior director of partner development and strategy.
