Sage leaders named as 2022 channel chiefs

Sage’s Aziz Benmalek and Nancy Teixeira recognized in coveted 2022 CRN Channel Chief list

ATLANTA (Feb. 7, 2022) – Sage (FTSE: SGE), the leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses, today announces that Sage partner leaders have been named in CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs list.

Aziz Benmalek, Executive Vice President, Global Partner Ecosystem & Professional Services, and Managing Director, North America, and Nancy Teixeira, Senior Vice President, Partner Strategy & Sales, North America, are recognized among the 2022 honorees.

CRN’s annual Channel Chiefs project identifies top IT channel vendor executives who continually demonstrate expertise, influence, and innovation in channel leadership, driving innovative strategies, programs, and partnerships.

Since joining Sage in 2020, Aziz Benmalek has driven growth of the indirect business by leading a strategy focused on digital transformation and migration and adoption of SaaS and cloud solutions.

Aziz says: “Together with our partners we are bringing real added value to our joint customers, helping them navigate change and transform their businesses. At Sage, we’re offering a differentiated experience, with multiple opportunities for partners to participate in and leverage, allowing them to deliver comprehensive solutions.

“As our partners continue to transform their businesses at pace, we’re continuing to invest in the ecosystem as a community. There is substantial opportunity for our partners to scale and grow this year, as we continue to drive migration to cloud, explore new routes to market and expand with expert services offerings.”

Nancy Teixeira has led the Sage North America business as channel leader since 2019, a role that expanded in 2021 to cover both Sage and Sage Intacct partner strategy for the region.

Nancy says: “It is clear that the best way to drive scale and growth in our North American business is with and through partners. My role is to enable their success via compelling programs and go-to-market strategies that allow them to sell to, service and support our mutual customers. Our partner ecosystem has been, and continues to be, one of our biggest assets, especially as we leverage our partners to help us drive customers to the cloud.”

CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs list is featured in the February 2022 issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/ChannelChiefs.
