Sage (FTSE: SGE), the leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses, today announces that two Sage partner-focused executives made CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs list. Marc Monday, VP of Strategic Partnerships and Interim VP of North America Partner Strategy and Sales, and Juha Harkonen, VP of Ecosystem and Marketplace Strategy, are recognized among the 2023 honorees.
CRN’s annual Channel Chiefs list identifies top IT channel vendor executives who continually demonstrate expertise, influence, and innovation in channel leadership, driving innovative strategies, programs, and partnerships.

Since 2021, Marc Monday has led his team in extending Sage’s reach via strategic alliances and scaling partnerships to reach up, down and across to customers of all sizes. In this role, Monday’s team drives long-term partnerships that scale across regions and deliver multi-year strategies to successfully reach new clients. Recently, Marc has also taken on the interim role of North American VP of Partner Strategy and Sales. In this role, he will be responsible for the sales functions within the partner segment and will lead the field and inside sales teams.
In his two years with Sage, Juha Harkonen served as operations leader for the Partner Center of Excellence. This role is the global function that governs Partners, Alliances, and Accountancies field execution. His role spans across global partner strategy, ecosystem/programs governance, third party participation in marketplaces and performance management. Juha works closely with partner business leaders, country MDs, area EVPs, and regional Presidents to drive the execution of a unified global partner strategy.
