Sage Awarded a 2024 AWS Partner Award

Sage recognized as Global Migration Technology Partner of the Year winner, one of many AWS Partners around the globe that help their customers drive innovation.
ATLANTA (Dec. 9, 2024) – Sage, the leader in accounting, financial, HR and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs)  is proud to announce that it has received a 2024 Geography and Global AWS Partner Award, recognizing leaders around the globe that are playing key roles in helping their customers drive innovation and build solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).  Named the winner of Global Migration Technology Partner of the Year, Sage has earned recognition as a top partner with the Migration Competency, demonstrating expertise in migrating customers to the AWS cloud.

Announced during the Partner Awards Gala at AWS re:Invent 2024, the Geographic and Global AWS Partner Awards highlight a wide range of AWS Partners that have embraced specialization, innovation, and cooperation over the past year. Geo and Global AWS Partner Awards recognize partners whose business models continue to evolve and thrive on AWS as they support their customers.

Sage’s deep expertise in cloud migration has enabled the company to achieve scalable, repeatable success in transitioning complex workloads—including applications, databases, and infrastructure—to AWS. Leveraging AWS migration tools and best practices, Sage empowers SMBs to optimize costs, enhance performance, and scale with confidence.

"This recognition underscores the strength of our collaboration with AWS and our shared vision to drive transformation for our customers. By combining Sage’s expertise in business software with the scalability and security of AWS, we’ve enabled SMBs to streamline their operations, reduce costs, and unlock new opportunities for growth,” said Amaya Souarez, EVP, Cloud Services & Operations, Sage.

This award reflects Sage’s commitment to empower SMBs through innovative, cloud-based solutions. Earlier this year, Sage signed a strategic collaboration agreement with AWS to enhance how SMBs optimise their operations with generative artificial intelligence (AI) and address environmental responsibilities. This relationship includes the development of a domain-specific Large Language Model (LLM) for accounting and compliance, and the availability of Sage Earth, an AI-powered carbon reporting solution, in the AWS Marketplace. These initiatives exemplify the joint efforts of Sage and AWS to provide SMBs with advanced tools that drive efficiency, sustainability, and growth.

All AWS Partners were invited to participate and submit a nomination. Award submissions were reviewed by a third-party, Canalys, and selected with special emphasis placed on customer success use cases.

In addition, there were several data-driven award categories, which were evaluated by a unique set of metrics that helped measure AWS Partners’ performance over the past year. Canalys audited the datasets used to ensure that all measurements and calculations were objective and accurate. Finalists represented the top three ranked AWS Partners across each category.

The AWS Partner Network (APN) is a global program focused on helping partners innovate, accelerate their journey to the cloud, and take full advantage of the breadth and depth of AWS.
