NATCO - United States

NATCO makes Sage Intacct the beating heart of its financial management

The organization for transplant professionals uses Sage software to increase financial visibility and save more lives

Bringing financial management in-house

Previously, NATCO’s volunteer board focused on the strategic vision while outsourcing day-to-day financial operations, memberships, sponsorships, and program registrations to a third party. But the board decided to bring financial operations management in-house.

We operate as a virtual office with a lean team who wear lots of hats, so it was critical to gain control and transparency quickly.

Waving goodbye to manual processes

Sage Intacct has replaced NATCO’s highly inefficient manual processes with automated, simple, online workflows. Now, there’s no more waiting days for approvals, with the board, president, and treasurer set up with role-based permissions to access the financial system.

Since implementing Sage Intacct, we’ve been solvent every year because our board can now see where we’re doing well and what we need to fix.

Advancing on the mission

Before Sage Intacct, NATCO’s board had no real-time reporting or visibility into its education programs. With newfound insight into program-specific metrics, the organization’s leaders could take control, proactively manage operations, and make sustainable decisions to advance its mission.

Instead of just looking at the organization as a whole, Sage Intacct sheds light on which programs are profitable and which aren’t.
