Manual accounting doesn’t allow for timely reports

Whole Family Health Center’s accounting team was being bogged down by slow and labor-intensive manual work in Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 – compounded by the growth of the business, from 60 to 105 employees in the last four years. The nonprofit needed to upgrade its accounting solution to deal with its growing financial workload.

Significant efficiency gains

Using Sage Intacct, Whole Family is now closing its monthly books in eight days, down from as many as 15 days - a 73% reduction. Improved efficiency and ease of use allows the finance team to reconcile bank transactions and manage journal entries on a daily basis, rather than in a month-end rush. But the biggest time savings is in reporting, at 20 hours a month.

Accounting and finance is 80% more efficient since we moved to Sage Intacct.
