What is a CFO?

A CFO is a chief financial officer, the senior executive who has overarching responsibility for the financial affairs of an organisation.

These individuals are in charge of accounting functions such as credit control, preparing budgets and financial statements, monitoring expenditure and reporting financial performance to the board.
