Accept payments online

With Sage it's easy to accept and receive payments from banks or online payment solutions.

What is an online payment solution?

An online payment solution allows you to make payments to and from your business, saving you time and helping you get paid faster. Sage is compatible with online payment solutions, such as Stripe, PayPal and GoCardless. These services link directly into your Sage software, allowing you to accept several different types of payment with ease.

Accepting card payments

Staying on track with card payments has never been simpler. Sage software links directly to  Stripe and PayPal to accept credit card, debit card and other payments directly, saving you valuable time.

Accepting direct debit payments

Sage software makes accepting payments online easy. With GoCardless, you can accept pre-authorised and direct debit payments as soon as they are due.

Connect Sage to your online payment solution

To set up integrated payments, simply log in or sign up to your preferred provider via your Sage product and watch payments flow directly to your business.

Once your invoice is paid, the payment is automatically reconciled to your accounts.

Online payments include credit or debit card payments, as well as direct debit.

Payments can be made from providers such as PayPal or Stripe, or directly from an account or card. GoCardless can also provide your customers with a direct debit option, allowing you to collect payments as soon as they are due.

As well as the online invoice capability, your customers can also make payments over the phone.

Sage software also offers the option for invoices to be fully or partially paid to provide flexibility for you and your customers.

First of all, you'll need to connect to Invoice Payments within your Sage software.

Then, connect to PayPal or Stripe. Simply sign into Stripe and PayPal if you already use it, or create a new account to get started.

Get paid with speed and ease thanks to the Pay Now button on invoice templates provided for you in your software, or add the button to your customised invoices for a personal feel.
