Client Management: Accountants’ FAQs

Client Management is included  within any customisable Sage for Accountants plan.  If you opt for the Essentials plan of Sage for Accountants, there will be no cost to use Client Management. You will only pay overage costs for added subscriptions and allowances, or if you choose the Standard or Premium plan. Just sign up for Sage for Accountants to get started. 

Manage and assign up to 10 tags to use with client folders and records. It’s a great way to group clients by categories from location and industry to late payers – and you can add colours to easily identify clients.

You can easily set up control access levels to both client and practice subscriptions.

Account owner: The user that signs up for Sage for Accountants can grant colleagues access and manage permissions and access for each user. 

Account user: Individual users in your practice. 

You can set up 6 different levels of account user to make sure they only see the relevant information.   View account user table.

You can also manage clients with Xero and Quickbooks.

Yes. Client Management makes it simple to manage your clients with Sage Accounting, Sage Payroll, or Sage 50 software, and it's also easy to import data from clients using other major accounting software solutions.
