Yes, currently you can share budgets with users in your organisation that do not have a license. Please know that we will continue to enhance functionality and security within the application, so in the near future if you shared a budget with users that do not have a license, they will be required to have one to access the application.

No, currently we do not do user audits and send invoices for additional users. This will also be changing but we will work with you to assess your user needs. If you receive any messages regarding end of year user audits or billings, please contact your Account Executive.

Yes, a budget can have multiple editors. With Sage Intacct Planning, you can share your budget in its entirety, or share parts of your budget with others in your company. Share as View Only, or amend permissions to allow your team mates to modify selected areas of your budget details.

Allocations are available. There is no need to do them in Excel.

Yes, our services use the  latest versions of a technology called Transport Layer Security, also known as TLS. You can click on the padlock symbol on your chosen web browser to confirm this. This protects your data while it is travelling over the internet and is called 'encryption-in-transit'.

Your data is also encrypted while stored in Sage databases in the cloud. This means if someone were to take disk drives from a datacentre they would be unable to read the data. This is call 'encryption-at-rest'.

Yes, scenarios are available with our budgeting and forecasting solution. You have the ability to create unlimited scenarios and the option to merge a scenario with your current budget if desired.

2-factor authentication adds extra security to your Sage account.  With 2-factor authentication, you'll need to enter a one-time code after entering your email address and password to log in.

You can set up 2-factor authentication in Account Management. Select 2-factor authentication to start setup. You'll need a mobile device or phone to complete 2-factor authentication.

Yes, Sage Intacct Planning can be used together with Sage Intacct Accounting. Exporting your budget from Sage Intacct Planning to Sage Intacct Accounting is helpful for creating reports to compare your budget versus your actuals.
