Sage Payroll is an app within Sage for Small Business, and is a monthly subscription service that also includes HR features. You can set up a direct debit or pay with your credit or debit card. To set up a direct debit, you need to have a bank account in the UK with a local currency in Pound sterling (GBP).

VAT per month is 20% of the product’s monthly price. There are no hidden costs.

You don’t need any previous experience with payroll software to get started, you’ll be guided all the way. With the Essential plan, you will get all of the features of Sage Payroll with essential HR features added. This includes the ability to manage and input employee records, track annual leave and time off, and create HR reports to help ensure that payslips are always accurate. You'll also be able to electronically send documents, and employees can self-serve to access payslips and documents from the app. You can get more by upgrading at any time to our Standard or Premier plans which included advanced capabilities such as shift scheduling, performance management tracking, and timesheets.
