Bobby Lane is CEO of the multi-disciplinary outsourcing practice Factotum. A chartered accountant with over 28 years’ experience in professional practice and as a CFO, he built the first multi award-winning SME outsourcing team at SSH before their sale to Azets in 2017. SAGE Global Business Influencer & Voted No 1 in the Top 50 most influential sources of finance news and information on social media by Economia. Bobby is a regular contributor to many trade and national media titles including The Mirror, The Times and Economia and previously BBC Radio London’s Business Agony Uncle. A regular judge on the Drapers Independents Awards and a judge on the Women in Accountancy and Finance Awards and Accounting Excellence Awards. Specialist in providing consultancy for growing businesses, assisting with startups and helping getting struggling companies back on track. Bobby is also currently the Vice-Chair of trustees at Grief Encounter.
