Seamless integration with data security at the centre

When Gemba changed its business focus from in-person to virtual reality training, it needed accounting software that would deliver the comprehensive data insights and security, accuracy, automation, and time savings required by its growth road map. 

With 70,000 data points, “we needed the data migration process to be seamless,” explains Angela Cruickshank, CFO of Gemba.

More time to focus on growth

Sage partner PwC worked on the implementation of Sage Intacct, a process Angela describes as “a joy” because it meant Sage Intacct was optimised for the organisation’s needs before going live. 

The data migration went smoothly thanks to rigorous testing by PwC before it went into the system. “It was incredibly straightforward and successful,” Angela says.

We knew what our processes and outputs would look like before we even got to the system training. So, it was a really easy and simple changeover.

Getting time back to focus on the future

The system has been appreciated by all who use it. A month-end process that previously took 6 days now takes 2.5; monthly payroll commissions calculation time has been reduced by 2 hours, and the time saved is used for growth.
