Glossary definition

What is innovation?

Innovation is the process of turning ideas or inventions into goods or services that create value and offer something customers are willing to pay for.

In business, innovation often starts with the brainstorming of ideas, which are then tested for viability to see if they can improve on an existing product, service or process, solve a problem, or can bring in new customers.
