Over time, as Dawson Creek added to its 130+ housing units and expanded its programs to include a social enterprise business and additional senior services, its financial complexity naturally increased. The finance team knew it needed to move away from its legacy accounting and payroll system.

New solution making life easier for the finance team

Sage Intacct is helping to streamline Dawson Creek’s chart of accounts and establish financial processes. The team has cut the time they spend on payables and receivables nearly in half and saved a full day of work each month. They can also prepare reports quicker, and to a more granular level.

Even with a leaner team, we’ve been able to pick up additional responsibilities we wouldn’t have gotten without Sage Intacct in place.

Program directors now have easy access to personalized dashboards that can help them closely monitor their budgets against actuals and track progress toward overall program goals.
