ATLANTA – December 13, 2022 – Sage (FTSE: SGE), the leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses, had three colleagues recognized this year as Accounting Today released their list of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting for 2022. This annual list honors the Top 100 people in high-profile roles who are advancing the accounting profession and who have made an exceptional impact.
Ed Kless, Sage’s senior director of Partner Development and Strategy, appears on the Top 100 list for the seventh time in his career. Kless joined Sage in 2003 and develops and delivers curricula for Sage business partners around small business consulting and pricing. Additionally, he hosts the Sage Thought Leadership Podcast and co-hosts The Soul of Enterprise.
According to Accounting Today, “Kless often discusses the importance of language, diving into linguistic origins and meanings in his many speaking engagements, and how these definitions relate to the modern, entrepreneurial-minded professional.” He was also praised for his impressive reach within the industry through his work on various podcasts.
Meanwhile, two members of Sage Leadership were named “Ones to Watch” by Accounting Today. Aziz Benmalek, president of Sage North America, and Nicole Ksiazek, director of the Sage Intacct Accountants Program, were both recognized for their work growing the business, and supporting the growth of client accounting services (CAS) within the accounting profession.
