A place for everyone

At Sage, we want you to bring your whole self to work. Our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy is designed to knock down barriers with real change so everyone can thrive. We’re determined to create a culture where everyone belongs and can unleash their potential.

Knocking down barriers

Guiding us on our journey to remove barriers is our DEI strategy, centred on these three core principles.

Diverse teams

A range of voices, backgrounds and experiences helps us make balanced decisions that reflect our colleagues, customers and communities.

Equitable culture

Creating a culture of wellbeing where everyone feels safe, respected and empowered to be themselves, without fear of discrimination or exclusion.

Inclusive leadership

Through learning, courage to experiment and asking questions, we’re equipping leaders to build teams that speak up and offer different perspectives.

Where we’re focused

We have six strategic focus areas guiding our DEI work. By remaining intentional about addressing inequity at the intersection of these identities, we have maximum impact.

Disability

Gender

LGBTQ+

Neurodiversity

Race and ethnicity

Social equity

Be uniquely you

Our representation

To better understand our people, we’ve recently developed a self-declaration survey. As participation increases, we’ll add disability, neurodiversity, sexual orientation, and social equity questions so we can build a more complete picture of our representation. With this data we can strategically drive change.

Gender at Sage

Race and ethnicity at Sage

*We use the term ‘historically under-represented racial and ethnic groups’ to represent our colleagues from Asian, Black, Hispanic/Latin American, Indigenous/First Persons, Middle Eastern/North African, Multiple Ethnic Groups and other racial and ethnic groups. By monitoring our representation levels by each separate identity and aligned to United Nations classifications, it encourages us to challenge systemic biases and work towards a more equitable society for everyone.

Express who you are

Our Colleague Success Networks are colleague-led groups formed on shared identity and lived experiences. They amplify the voices of marginalised communities and provide a platform to share experiences and identify challenges. All colleagues are invited to join and the insights and ideas that stem from networks are fed back to the DEI team and senior leadership to support understanding and action
