Interview

If the recruiter feels you could be a fit, you’ll embark on a series of interviews. This is your chance to learn more about the Sage Pathways Program and help us get to know you better.

Decision

We want you to be successful. If we feel like you’ll achieve that with a Pathways role, we’ll invite you to officially join Sage.

Onboarding

Remember what we said about not needing to know it all? Starting during your first week, we’ll support your transition into your new role with ample training. Day by day, you’ll develop confidence and start acquiring skills you didn’t know you had.

Yes. It’s not uncommon for candidates to pursue the Pathways Program to break into tech, however, some roles will ask for some formal training or experience. The job advertisement will outline these specifics. We’ll assess your technical ability as part of the interview process, and then develop an onboarding plan to support your transition.
Embrace it! The Pathways Program is designed for active learning. We want you to always be curious and ask lots of questions. If you’re looking for input from an expert, reach out to your mentor. Or, if you’d rather bounce thoughts off a colleague, your peer mentor or "buddy" as we call them at Sage, is a Teams chat or desk away.
Pathways roles are also designed with flexibility in mind. Right away, you’ll receive training during onboarding and learn about resources that support your well-being. Be sure to also let your manager know what you need so they can be in your corner.

Our Pathways roles are hybrid-based, meaning you’ll get a mix of working in the office and at home. We want you to get the most out of your Sage experience and found that office days spent collaborating with the team accelerate growth. All colleagues, however, have the option to work-away for up to 10 weeks.
