Becoming a more diverse employer

Our vision for diversity, equity and inclusion.

We are committed to breaking barriers so that everyone can thrive. That starts with our own teams. We know this is the right thing to do and we also know that having diverse perspectives fuels innovation. This helps generate better ideas to serve our customers. We are a global company and we must reflect the diverse world that we work in. We are committed to an inclusive workforce that fully represents the many different cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints of our customers, partners and communities.

 

Our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

Our six commitments will help us advance diversity, equity and inclusion at Sage, as well as foster a stronger sense of belonging. These commitments are for all our colleagues, customers, suppliers, partners and communities. We have made these public so that you can hold us accountable and to help ensure that our own actions, values, and behaviors are up to the standards you've come to expect from us. We know we will not get everything right, but that does not mean we should not try. We will be open and honest about both our successes and failures.

 

Our commitments

We have a zero tolerance approach to discrimination of any kind. We will listen to our colleagues and communities, acting accordingly based on their feedback. We know it has never been acceptable to say or do nothing.
We will work hard to ensure that everyone is given an equal chance. Our workforce will reflect the diversity of the communities in which we work and live at every level of our organization.
We strive to create an inclusive culture which embraces wide ranging opinions. Our leaders will seek out alternative and diverse perspectives from people with different viewpoints from their own.
We know that everyone is different and that we all learn, develop and respond differently to experiences. We will seek out and remove any barriers that we find so that we can provide everyone with the same opportunity for success.
We will drive diversity, equity and inclusion by educating ourselves about the world and the people around us, asking questions, listening to answers and hearing what we are told.

We will share our diversity, equity and inclusion strategy. We will be open about where we are on our journey. Our progress will be ongoing and we will hold ourselves accountable when we get things wrong, but we will also celebrate when we get things right. We will learn from both.
